Single-page letter, New York, New York, 26 November 1866, on Office of the Tribune letterhead, turning down an invitation to lecture, (chipping to top edge, old mount in lower corners, old folds),8 1/4 x 5 1/4 in.; single-leaf letter on lined paper inscribed on both sides, New York, New York, 19 July 1846, to Rob [William Erigena Robinson], encouraging Robinson to take a new opportunity in which he will be able to travel more, in addition providing a list of persons to call upon, Greeley also asks to remain apprised of happenings in Washington and complains how "Telegraph is killing Washington letters," accompanied by original mailing envelope, (old folds, some staining on front),10 x 8 in.
