Day: including The Political Contest; Containing, a Series of Letters Between Junius and Sir William Draper, Also the Whole of Junius's Letters, to His Grace the D*** of G******, Brought into One Point of View, London: Printed for F. Newberry, undated, this being the first edition as identified Francesco Cordasco's Junius a Bibliography of the Letters of Junius,; the second edition of the above work with the addition of "When Vice prevails..." text below the title, London: F. Newberry, undated; The Political Contest: Being a Continuation of Junius's Letters, From the 8th of July last to the Present Time,... Part II, London: F. Newberry, undated; The Political Contest; Containing Junius's Letter to the K - - -; and Modestus's Answer, Dublin: Printed and Sold by the Booksellers, 1770; and dozed of other late 18th century pamphlets and related 19th century works; also a large bound volume with extensive late 18th and early 19th century correspondence relate to Junius' works, the identity of Junius, Hugh Boyd's family and history, and newspaper clippings regarding the same; Day's inventory of his collection; a copy of Junius: A Bibliography, and three other early works on William Pitt and John Wilkes, approx. eight linear feet of material; photographs show only a small portion of the lot.
