Four diamond-shaped touchmarks on each side of the blade as well as a crown touch mark. 31.25" in overall length with a 4" iron hilt topped with a faceted rectangular pommel cap. Simple iron basket hilt of iron branches with thumb ring, with straight quillons terminating in bulbous finials. Wire wrapped hilt. Condition: Good overall. Mottled dark steel gray patina with scattered patches of darker age discoloration and oxidation. Scattered areas of light to moderate pitting present. Hilt with similar patina to blade. Wire wrap restored.
