1903 WORLD SERIES TICKET STUBS A small scrapbook containing newspaper clippings and hand written notes about the 1903 World Series between Boston and Pittsburgh. Pasted into the book on page 132 are two ticket stubs for the Series. One is a full stub for game 7 played at Pittsburgh. The other is a torn stub for what is hand noted as the last game in Boston on October 13, 1903, for the Boston Baseball Club which appears to have the three letters MON torn off. The eighth game was originally scheduled for Monday October 12, 1903, but was postponed due to rain. It was played on Tuesday, October 13. That may explain the fact that it was torn again to use the rain check. An historic pair of rare stubs.
