By 1929 the Stevens empire embraced not only motorcycle production but also manufacture of sidecars, cars and commercial vehicles as well as an interest in wireless production. In that year their motorcycle range included no less than 12 different models ranging from the 250cc lightweight single to the 996cc twins, prices ranging from £39 to £76. The M6 was a 350cc model offered in both single port and twin port overhead valve specification. This M6 features the single port engine and is presented in black livery with the magenta tank panel, a 1929 feature. The machine was first registered with Nottingham County Borough Council on 19th March 1929 and the retail price that year was £52. In 1968 it was registered with the Geeson family. The machine features hand change gear lever, luggage carrier and has been the subject of a careful restoration, retaining originality in all major respects. It is offered with a Swansea V5 registration document and old style, green VE60 document.
