1934 US Tour of Japan Team Signed Baseball No tour team in the history of baseball had a more devastating lineup. Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Jimmie Foxx headlined the famous tour, which invited American major league players to Japan to play against Japanese college all-stars. Not surprisingly, the Americans won all seventeen games they played. This Japanese Okuda & Co. brand ball commemorating the historic tour is signed by 16 members of the US team. Included are Babe Ruth (sweet spot, 4-5/10), Lou Gehrig (7/10), Connie Mack, Lefty Gomez, Frank Hayes, Lefty O'Doul, Earl Whitehill, J. Cascarella, Moe Berg, Jimmie Foxx, Doc Ebling, Earl Averill, John Quinn, Clint Brown Eric McNair and "Rabbit" Warstler. A clear coat of shellac has been applied to the ball. VG-EX condition overall. Signatures average 5-6/10 with the keys Gehrig, Foxx and Berg among the best. LOAs from PSA/DNA and JSA.
