Beschreibung:

1948 AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM SIGNED MENU, The Institute of Journalists London District Lunch to welcome the Australian Test Cricket Team at Grosvenor House, Park Lane on the 21st April 1948, signed by Bradman, Harvey and the illustrator Giles under his caricature of an elderly Bradman. The Australians of 1948 can rightly be considered one of, if not the finest side, ever to arrive in England. Not only was the batting led by Bradman formidable, the bowling was equally as fearsome led by the two great fast bowlers of the era, Lindwall and Miller. The Australians went on to win the 5-Match Test Series 4 - 0 and Bradman achieved his long standing ambition to go through a tour of Britain unbeaten. Together with 4 modern Chelsea football programmes.
