1955 BROOKLYN AND NEW YORK YANKEE BASEBALLS While covering the 1955 World Series for the New York Mirror, Mr. Lewin obtained a pair of team-signed baseballs which were used in the series. He later had the Art Department print the team and year on the baseballs. The Yankee ball features Mantle and Rizzuto signatures on the sweet spot and is also signed by Bauer, Ford, Larsen, Howard, Berra and Skowron. There are a total of 29 signatures on the Yankee ball. The Brooklyn Dodger ball has Alston on the sweet spot. There are a total of 17 signatures on the Dodger ball including Reese, Hodges, Snider, Koufax, Furillo, Kellert, Campanella, Labine and Robinson. A unique pair of game-used baseballs from Brooklyn's only World Series Championships. Both baseballs show game use and are in excellent condition. (2)
