The mainstay of the Puch 250 range in the 1950s was the ‘SG’ range, quick machines which were imported into the UK from 1955 onwards and gained a strong following because of their integrated and careful design when compared to the average British 250 with its ‘built to a price’ appearance. The mainstay was the SG itself, with its supple and well-damped suspension and comfortable seating, a flexible touring mount.
