This 1957 88" was a barn find (where else would an elderly Land Rover be found?) that was rewarded with a full restoration that has seen attention to detail not only in the most obvious areas but in the out-of-sight ones too. The vendor describes the bodywork, paint and wheels/tyres as excellent and the glazing as very good. Equally careful attention was paid to the interior which features new seats, flooring, fresh paint and a re-furbished steering wheel. Equal care has gone into the mechanicals as the engine is reported to be excellent for starting and running and its presentation will stand up to the strictest of scrutiny. Running gear and the electrical systems are also excellent, the vendor reports. In all, a wonderfully-presented Series One ready for use and enjoyment.
