Beschreibung:

Rover's range in the immediate post-war years was much the same as it had been in 1939, the first all-new Rover - the 75 P4 - not appearing until the autumn of 1949. One of the most readily recognised and fondly remembered cars of the era, the stately P4 with its slab sides, column gearshift and 'gentlemen's club' interior would prove an immense success for the Solihull firm, remaining in production until 1964. The 105, built from 1956 to 1959, came with the 2,639cc, twin-carburettor, 108bhp, six-cylinder engine and was good for 100mph. This well maintained and highly original '105' has been in the present ownership for the past six years, having previously formed part of a large private collection. The car has been maintained by its owner's specialist mechanic for the past six years and benefits from a new battery, new fuel pump and five new tyres. Finished in pale green with grey leather interior, it has the desirable overdrive transmission and is offered with a quantity of spare parts lists, factory manual, Rover Club information booklet, sundry invoices, expired MoTs (x5) from 1997 onwards, current road fund licence, MoT to July 2003 and Swansea V5.
