In 1967 Chrysler built 283 Dodge Coronet R/T 'Hemis' to specifications for the U.S. Market, 121 4-speeds and 162 automatics. This hemi coronet was inspected by Mopar 'Guru' Galen Govier and is registered with the Chrysler registry as number 15 of 28 built at the St. Louis assembly plant with a production date of January 10, 1967. The drivetrain in this car is legendary- the 426 Hemi engine with two Carter AFB’s on top was rated at 425 horsepower. It was commonly believed, however, that this figure was understated for insurance purposes. Backing up the engine is an A-833 Hemi four speed and a 3:54 ratio sure grip Dana 60 differential. Slowing the car down is made easier with power disc brakes. It has the factory Magnum 500 rims with Firestone Redwall tires. The paint on this car is qq-1, dark red with a black vinyl interior. It has a factory tachometer and console sitting atop the four-speed.
