The all-new Newton Commercial interior (green and grey) is said to be excellent throughout. Power is supplied by a 1380cc A+ engine with Maniflow LCB, stainless steel exhaust and running a single HIF44 SU carburetor, which is rated as excellent for starting, running and presentation. An alloy radiator is fitted. The running gear is rated as excellent throughout and features a KAD quick-shift close-ratio gearbox, front disc brakes, rear Mini-Fins and solid-bushed, adjustable rose-jointed suspension with Koni shock absorbers.
