Honda’s initial C100 ‘Cub’ had immense success worldwide from the 1960’s onward. By the 1970 the range had expanded to include 50cc, 70cc and 90cc models, all sharing the same basic frame, engine and running gear, the differences being in equipment and the capacity of the bullet-proof overhead camshaft engine, always with an automatic clutch. Still in production round the world, these little Hondas hold the production record, over 25 million having been made. A869 YNT has just over 3000 miles showing, and is hardly run in. In the hands of one lady owner from new, finished in red, the next owner must work hard to exceed the 100,000 miles recorded on some examples. In good condition, but in need of gentle maintenance before riding, the Honda has a V5 for its Shropshire number.
