In 1979 Kawasaki bored out the smaller of its two four-cylinder models – the Z650 - to create a new 750cc multi - the Z750E - using basically the 650’s cycle parts with the addition of a second front disc brake. Soon there were 750cc fours in a variety of styles and model designations, the shaft-driven GT750 tourer being a new introduction for 1982. Its maintenance-free shaft drive made the GT750 a particular favourite with dispatchers, and the model would go onto be a considerable success, remaining in production until 1997. This particular GT750 currently displays a total of 50,678 miles on the odometer and is described as very original and in generally good condition, benefiting from a new battery. The machine is offered with current MoT/tax and Swansea V5C document.
