Manufactured in 1880. The barrel looks to be cut off and the sight moved back. 1 piece checkered Rosewood grips. German silver front sight and two line address on the barrel. Three line patent date on the left side of the frame. Gun works in both single and double action. Niter blue hammer and screws. The gun is profusely engraved in scroll work. The engraving is very well executed. Before it was engraved, it was re-blued a deep blue. CONDITION: Gun retains virtually all of the aftermarket blue finish. The checkered grip shows normal wear to the checkering and has vast amounts of its original varnish. Dark bore with some frosting in the lands and grooves.
