Barrel is possibly of Spanish origins, and features some brass inlay work and relief pattern engraving which is worn. Brass mounted. The wood forward of the contemporary brass band is replaced. Brass ramrod is a replacement. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina showing wear and pitting. Several replaced parts. The wood has dings, cracks and handling marks. Forend replaced, cracks and a piece missing from the left side. Hammer is stuck and will not cock.
