A BLUE AND WHITE 'CRANE AND TRIGRAM' BOWL JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820) The exterior is painted with eight trigrams divided by clouds and four cranes in flight, all above rocks and waves; the interior with a diaper band enclosing cross-shaped motifs around the mouth, and a medallion in the centre with a flowerhead encircled by waves. 5 5/8 in. (14.2 cm.) diam.
