A Bohemian green glass portrait vase, 19th century, of slender inverted baluster form with extended flared neck, gilt decorated, 31cm high The piece shows rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout, extensive in places (particularly the neck and the knopp). There are spots of white reside throughout, with two more extensive flecks to the foot. The portrait panel appears to be in good overall condition, showing minor fine surface scratching and wear. The top edge of the panel shows a small glazing fault. The piece would benefit from cleaning.
