circa 1774-75 From the Leinster service, the cup of double ogee shape with an angular scroll handle, painted with a letter 'L' formed from a pink and gold flower garland surmounted by a gold ducal coronet, within an oval gold medallion encircled with a garland of palm and laurel leaves, flanked by similar medallions painted in grey with male classical heads, within a border of laurel festoons hung from a wide gold band, within gilt dentil rims, the saucer 12.7cm diam, blue X and gold 3 marks (a hair crack to rim of cup, some rubbing to the well of the saucer) (2)
