Lefaucheux, No. 199870, circa 1868 Engraved with shells, flowers and foliage on the frame, cylinder, and trigger-guard, with chequered walnut grips, and lanyard ring: in lined and fitted marquetry case, the lid lined with cloth stamped and gilt with Dutch presentation inscription, Liège proof 10½in. (26.7cm.) The inscription reads :- "Ann haren verdienstelijken Kommandant H.P. Muller aangeboden door de Goudsche Weerbaarheids - Vereeniging "Burgerpligt". Gouda, 4 Mei 1868"
