Beschreibung:

A Chinese Yaozhou celadon 'Peony' conical bowl, Northern Song Dynasty, potted with a short foot rising to straight flared sides underneath a slightly everted rim, carved and combed on the interior with a single peony spray, the exterior with a band of lotus petals, covered with an olive-green glaze pooling at the recesses, exposing the buff body at the foot rim, 17.5cm diameter; and a carved Chinese Qingbai 'lotus' washer, Sothern Song Dynasty, 15.5cm diameter (2)Compare with a similar Yaozhou bowl sold at Christie's, Lot 3218, 28 May 2014.
