Dodd, 1796; a selection of 19th Century letters from the Caledonian Railway solicitor's office; Bradshaw's New Railway Map of Great Britian and Ireland, 1857; manuscripts relating to the Perth and Inverness railway; and other items; together with a selection of 19th Century documents relating to the Post Office; a selection of early 19th Century manuscripts relating to Magdalene Bridge and Musselburgh; and a selection of other 19th Century manuscripts, correspondence, and ephemera. Provenance - PROVENANCE: From the collection of Eric Lomax 'The Railway Man' of Berwick. Eric was an avid collector from an early age and passionate about steam trains and technology, collecting books, documents, photos, and ephemera throughout his life.
