Colt 1873 Artillery Single Action Army revolver. Serial number dates this gun to 1885. Blued frame and trigger guard with a case hardened frame. Unfortunately the numbers on the frame, cylinder, and grip do not match. CONDITION: Overall very good. Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light handling marks in areas. Grips are very good with light handling marks and wear on the edges. Bore with fair rifling left. Hammer and cylinder are tight. A nice Colt for your collection. JA CORRECTION: Factory letter has been obtained and verifies the revolver was shipped to US Gov't inspector in 1885 with 150 additional Colt revolvers.
