Colt Single Action Army Sheriff's Model revolver with holster. Made 1883. 2 line company address on the top of the barrel. Patent dates on the left side of the frame. No caliber markings visible. Matching serials on the frame, trigger guard, butt and cylinder. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and v-notch rear. Frame and hammer are case colored, with the balance of parts being blued. 20th century stag style grips. Includes a period leather belt holster. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with most areas forming a gray patina. Grips have a few handling marks and some wear. Bore is frosted, but retains good overall rifling. Tight hammer. Cylinder has some side-side movement when cocked. Lockup is a bit loose as well. Mechanically operable. Holster is fair with heavy wear and crazing.
