Comprising close-helmet with rounded one-piece skull with low roped comb and dome-headed lining rivets around the back of the neck, on the right a sprung button-catch for the bevor, rear neck-guard of three articulated plates, and bevor and 'bellows' visor pivoting at the same points on each side, the former shaped to the chin (small hole) and throat, the latter with bevelled borders, pierced with horizontal vision slits and with pairs of ventilation slots, and with a sprung button-catch at the bottom on the right, the lower edges with recessed turned and roped borders, gorget of two main plates with three neck-plates front and rear, hinged together on the left and secured by pin and keyhole catches on the right, the front plates each with medial ridge and central cusping at the top, the top plates boldly turned and roped, globose breast-plate with angular turn at the neck and moveable armhole gussets, incurved waist-plate carrying a skirt of three overlapping plates, and rounded tassets of five plates each forming an arch over the crotch and with recessed turned edges, back-plate with two-plate culet en suite and riveted side extensions, upper arms defences each of six articulated plates with a bracelet turning joint at their base, large detachable heart-shaped side-wings with recessed border and secured by a pin-catch, lower cannons of two parts hinged together, circular besagews each embossed with a flower-head centred on a rounded spike, and full leg harness comprising two-lame cuisses with a plain turn on the upper edge of each plate, poleyns each with heart-shaped side-wing, a single articulated plate above and two beneath, closed greaves each of two plates hinged together and each with medial ridge, and round-toed sabatons of nine articulated plates, the edges mostly turned and partly roped, dome-headed rivets throughout (some repairs and restoration): on a wooden stand
