The converted frame of an 1860 Army Colt (three screw frame type with shoulder stock cuts) features the modified back strap and trigger guard holding the darkened stripped maple stock with cheekpiece, brass butt plate with extended tang, inlaid German silver motif of a deer head and set with at small iron lidded cap box at bas eof stock. Stripped maple fore-end. An unusual combination of a factory product modified early on to a hand-made revolving rifle. 31 inch barrel.
