A Dutch silver beaker Groningen, 1656/57, maker's mark indistinct The flared body on a cast and domed foot decorated with foliage and cherubs below a band of trelliswork and flowerheads, with a spike twist band, the lower part of the body engraved with three flowers and inscribed LF , the upper part with three oval cartouches with figures emblematic of Faith, Hope and Charity with festoons of fruit in between, marked on base 13 cm. high 162 gr.
