Boston Mass, Pat'd March 6. 1860.' on the top flat, case-hardened back-action lock, hammer and trigger-lever, figured butt and fore-stock (some old bruising), case-hardened butt-plate with sprung magazine tube, sling loops, and retaining much of its original finish 76.2 cm. barrel
