A fine and complete late 19th-Century architect's drawing set, by Lawrence & Mayo London, the walnut case with lid rising to reveal a purple plush flap over two signed mahogany and ebony set-squares, the upper tray containing a complete selection of electrum drawing instruments, including dividers, proportional dividers, ivory-handled probes, pens, beam compasses, a folding compass and other items, the second tray containing five long and one short ivory scale rules, a proportional scale, a brass and ivory parallel rule, a brass roller rule, all signed Lawrence & Mayo , the lower compartment with nickel-plated compass -- 6in.
