Circa 1930 The silvered engraved Roman dial with seconds ring at VI and fine quality blued steel hands, the movement with slightly tapered brass plates, four double screwed cylindrical pillars, screwed châatons to the wheel train with five crossings to each wheel, deadbeat escapement with adjustable jewelled pallets, the barrel with indirect drive to the right side, the invar type J pendulum signed Rieffler München D.R.P 100870 398. and further punched 398 at the suspension hook, the case with bevel-glazed sides, front door with reeded spandrels to the circular dial aperture 32¾in. (65cm.) high
