Varnished walnut grips. Complete with original green baize-lined English oak case. Interior of lid with loading/cleaning directions. Associated accessories include L-shaped combination tool, two-cavity Colt's Patent bullet mold, Dixon & Sons powder flask and cap tin with label marked 500/Berdan Primers.... Condition: Excellent. Barrel retains 90% plus dark blue finish showing some flaking at breech. Cylinder with 50-60% blue finish showing sharp markings and scene with some small patches of light pitting. Loading rod retaining much vivid casehardening on both sides of lug. Frame and hammer retain nearly all darkened casehardening colors. Triggerguard/gripstrap with 40-50% unpolished silver plate remaining. Excellent grips with 98% varnish and scattered small marks. Case exterior with some minor marks. Lining showing some light wear and staining. Directions label with foxing, staining and small tears. Accessories fair to good. See Illustration
