A fine needlework picture , worked with the Judgement of Solomon in coloured silks, metal thread, purl and seed pearl details, Solomon seated in a splendid throne, the executioner holding one baby, the dead infant on the ground and the two women standing by, the border with fine raised work figures representing the Four Elements and with flowers and creatures, including a tulip, iris, sunflower, lion, stag and a host of creepy crawlies, including a spider hanging from a thread-- 20 x 23in.
