A FINE PAIR OF DUTCH BRONZE SALUTING CANNON BY CORNELIS OUDEROGGE, ROTTERDAM Circa 1646 Each with heavy tapering barrel cast with raised fillets and astragals, with bands of foliage in low relief, a pair of naturalistic dolphin handles, a coat-of-arms in a baroque cartouche over the date 1646 on a ribbon on the first reinforce, and each signed C Ouderogge fecit Rotterdam in miniscules on the base ring: each on a 19th century iron mounted wooden carriage The barrels 63.5 cm. overall.
