A FINE PAIR OF INCISED CELADON-GLAZED 'BATS' BOWLS YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735) Each bowl is delicately incised on the exterior with nine bats in flight above waves breaking against jagged rocks, and the interior similarly decorated with a pair of confronted bats surrounded by rolling waves within a double circle medallion. 4 3/4 in.
