Business was located at 106, rue Vieille-du-Temple, Paris until 1894. His work is renowned for the fine quality of the metalwork; ormolu and gilding. Specialising in the reproduction of the period styles of Louis XIV, XV and XVI furniture, Dasson often used to copy items whilst adding his own style. Successes at the Paris Expositions Universalles in 1878 onwards brought his work into demand on the Continent and in England where he established an elite clientele including the Royal family.
