a fine proto-corinthian aryballos End of first quarter of 7th Century B.C. The rim with three concentric circles and row of dots, the handle with three vertical stripes, four horizontal lines around the neck, an undulating snake around the shoulder with seven rosettes in the field, the body with band containing triangle frieze above horizontal lines and bands, (intact, very fine condition); and an early Proto-Corinthian aryballos, with concentric circles around the rim, row of dashes around the neck, the shoulder with triangular ray frieze, the globular body with horizontal lines, black band above the foot, (repaired from one break, oval chip to shoulder) 2¾in. (7cm.) and 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) high respectively (2)
