A finely engineered and well presented ¾ in.:1ft scale 3½ in. gauge model of the GWR Star Class 4-6-0 locomotive and tender No. 4005 Polar Star , built by Severn Lamb with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, and clack valves. Chassis details include two inside and two outside cylinders with valves controlled through inside Stephenson's link gear and rocking levers, fluted connecting rods, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector, whistle, brake gear, riveting, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamps. Tender details include working leaf springs, water cocks, hand feed pump, steps, hand and lamp irons, finished in finely lined GWR livery -- 10¼ x 48¼in. (26 x 122.5cm.)
