A FINELY RESTORED EARLY 19TH-CENTURY NAPOLEONIC FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR BONE AND BALEEN MODEL FOR A 74-GUN SHIP the 6½in. planked and pinned hull with baleen main and secondary wale, brass guns with red painted port lids, finely-carved stern and quarter galleries, warrior form figurehead with pierced head rails, chain plates and deadeyes, metal anchors with bound bone stocks, the deck with details including deck rings, belaying rails, capstan, belfry, water casks, balustrade well decking, gratings, cannon in stepped bone carriages, poop deck with raised deck light etc., bound masts with standing and running rigging, with bone blocks supporting two ship's boats between fore and main masts, yards with s'tuns'l booms and foot ropes, mounted on bone stands to bone-trim display board within brass-bound glazed case.
