A French lacquered Chinoiserie writing desk Print 19th century The kidney-shaped tooled and gilt leather-inset top over a gilt and red lacquer-painted black lacquer body fitted with three short drawers, raised in thin cabriole legs terminating in rocaille sabots 30" H x 39" W x 20" D Provenance: Property of a private collection, Camarillo, CA. Condition: Overall good condition. General scattered scuffs, scratches and minor tears to inset leather top. General crazing, scratches, separation at joints, scuffs and cracking to lacuqer body commensurate with age; scattered nicks to lacquer including a .5" x .25" loss to one drawer front. Lacking key.
