A GEORGE III IRISH THREE PIECE SILVER COMPOSITE TEA SERVICE AND A GEORGE III COFFEE POT AND A WASTE BOWL, with makers' marks of, the Irish pieces, Dublin, teapot and cream jug 1827, Edward Power, two handled sugar bowl 1822, E. Power and Edward Twycross, the baluster coffee pot London, 1827, George Hunter II, the waste bowl London, apparently 1686, maker's mark of FS pellet above and below in shield ?Francis Singleton, decorated later, the Irish examples on four foliate and rose paw supports, the sides chased with continuous flowering foliage, with two oval cartouches, one engraved with crest and motto, the sugar bowl not engraved and with two lion's mask terminated flying scroll handles, the teapot with partly decorated spout and handle, the hinged part domed, chased cover topped by cast floral finial-- the teapot 6½in. (16.5cm.) high , the coffee pot chased with flowering foliage at intervals, on circular base, the bowl on three mask headed shell and scroll supports-- the coffee pot 7¾in. (19.6cm.) high, gross weight 98oz. (5)
