A George III silver tankard, of traditional form having moulding to the body and S shaped handle, on a circular moulded foot, marks for Newcastle 1783, maker John Langlands I & John Robertson I, 438g Condition report: Small dents and scratches to the body along with general surface wear. One side has been thinned, possibly removed engraving. Pieces removed from underside of handle with holes in base, likely to hang up as decor. Measures approximately 1 1/2 pints.
