A German Iron Cross 1939, First Class, clasp number 107, believed to have been presented by Field Marshall Erich Von Busch who finished WWII as a German Commander of German forces opposed to Allied 21st Group in Europe, the vendors fathers was a Major in the 1st Bucks Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry during WWII, he came into possession of this Iron Cross following Busch death on the 17th July 1945 in a prisoner of war camp in Aldershot, including a hand written letter dated 11 feb explaining Busch death and the First Class Iron Cross, signed David, who believe to be David Bicknell of 1st Bucks Battalion, comes with a miniature German WWII Pin Badge, eagle carrying wreath and swastika, marked on reverse M1/8 and a symbol in a circle but difficult to see and a German WWII metal badge with ribbon, damaged and not of the highest quality
