A good and large 19th century Chinese blue and white rouleau vase, painted with a continuous figural landscape, painted double ring mark to base, height 44.5cm. The vase has been in the family since the 1950s. It was given to the vendor's aunt by Mrs Lloyd of Lloyd Shipping as they were friends through the Christian Science Church in Wallasey. Mrs Lloyd was a wealthy widow who lived in New Brighton and was part of the large shipping firm established in the late 19th century.
