It is of rectangular form with a floating panel to the top frame, and shows well-carved spandrels reticulated as squared C-scrolls on the side, joined together in the middle by a double band. The straight legs are linked by humpbacked joints. Provenance: Lempertz, Cologne, Germany. Austrian trade, acquired from the above. Condition: Good condition with minor old wear, fine age cracks, naturally grown patina, some expected minor splits and gaps, and some shallow surface scratches.
