While most timepieces with this many features legible upon the dial could be considered a clutter of complications, this watch design and functionality is anything but. In proper A. Lange & Söhne fashion, the composition of the dial is executed beautifully, featuring the signature large date at 12 o’clock, a month and leap year indicator at 3 o’clock, the zero reset running seconds and moon phase at 6 o’clock together with a 24-hour scale inset in the day- and week indication situated at 9 o’clock. Fully cased in platinum, the Langematik furthermore features the signature exhibition case back, allowing for ample views of the beautifully decorated German silver movement, presenting an engraved micro-rotor weighted with a platinum insert and, of course, the tell-tale hand-engraved balance cock.
