The inscription on upper margin gives the title of this icon as ‘The Not Made By Hands Image Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.’ The lower margin inscribed Bozhie Videnie Bozhestnoe Chudo "Vision of God -- Divine Wonder." And the lower section of cloth inscribed Svyatui Ubrus - The Holy Cloth. Likely a Palekh trained artist. 17 inches x 15.25 inches (44 x 39 cm).
