A LATE KASSITE/EARLY NEO-BABYLONIAN CREAM STONE CYLINDER SEAL, showing a human-headed winged sphinx wearing a crown, with palm tree and cross-motif in the field, circa 1000 B.C., 1¼in. (3cm.) high; an Old Babylonian haematite cylinder seal with a king(?) and a deity before a nude frontal goddess, a crook in the field and a two-line inscription reading "Amurru, son of An", ¾in. (2cm.) high; another, with a standing god in front of a suppliant king and another worshipper, a crescent moon, monkey and human head in the field, ¾in. (1.7cm.) high, both 19th-18th Century B.C.; a late Mitannian black stone cylinder seal with two standing worshippers before two seated figures (one recut), worn, circa 14th Century B.C., 7/8in. (2.1cm.) high; an Old Syrian black stone cylinder seal, with a stylized figure and two standing figures flanking an ibex, circa 1000 B.C., ¾in. (1.9cm.) high; and a 'spindle-whorl' or button bead with incised concentric circle and linear decoration, Hellenistic, ¾in. (2cm.) diam. (6)
