(A) LOT OF 2 WHITNEY NAVY PERCUSSION REVOLVERS.

Lot consists of: (A) Whitney Navy percussion revolver. 7 - 3/4" octagon barrel in .36 caliber with cone front sight and frame notch rear. 2 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with metal assemblies turning a brown-gray patina with areas of age related pitting throughout. Grips are good, with finish loss toward butt and handling marks throughout. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is frosted with abrasion throughout and visible rifling. (B) Whitney Navy percussion revolver. 7 - 3/4" octagon barrel in .36 caliber with cone front sight and frame notch rear. 2 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with metal assemblies turned a brown patina with handling and storage marks throughout. Grips are good with areas of heavy cleaning. Ramrod assembly needs attention as it is missing the rammer as well as the frame and pivoting screws. Action needs attention as the cylinder will not turn when gun is held up, but will when gun is pointed down. Bore is dark with abrasion throughout.
