Property from the Estate of Alexis Gregory, Sold to Benefit the Alexis Gregory Foundation A Louis XV Gilt-Bronze Mounted Tulipwood, Amaranth, and Floral Marquetry Commode, Stamped Dubois and Boudin, Mid-18th Centurywith pale grey and pink marble top; stamped once DUBOIS and twice L BOUDIN and JME; partially remounted height 33 in.; width 56 1/2 in.; depth 26 in.84 cm.; 143.5 cm.; 66 cm. Jacques Dubois (1694-1763), maître in 1742Léonard Boudin (1735–1807), maître in 1761Condition reportMarble top restored. Minor loss of veneer at right side of apron and above the right leg and small losses of veneer and age cracks surrounding the floral inlay of lower drawer. The upper drawer with some minor refilled spots. Left side with losses of veneer and slight lifting of veneer surrounding the floral marquetry. The back of frontal left leg with loss of veneer. Right side with small veneer cracks and some minor losses of veneer, further on some age cracks . The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
